{FROMPAMM} Paper Kitty Project • 2012 • Berlin x NYC

fromm pamm - paper kitty project

One city being widely populated with artists, musicians and creatives alike, with a hippie trail of abandoned buildings turned art squats, the other, a fountainhead to the tallest buildings, busiest ports, dramatic financial velocity and everything and more in between – Berlin x NYC are perfect backdrops for the Paper Kitty project 2012.

Collected flyers and old newspapers given a new lease of life as card-holding, money-keeping paper wallets. What drives the project is a pure effort to keep the printed world relevant, forgotten paper left out in the rain – a big amount of the world’s resource in paper is wasted in the wind. Reuse the things that have already been produced to provide a longer life for it’s existence.

*kitties and mail stamps are all made possible on my own dime.

2010 – 47 kitties were sent to addresses from Bangkok to Turkey to England, 3 photos were returned for my record. I hope this year will be better as i take this travelling project to Berlin and soon, NYC. If you love mail art, stamp art and creating simple movements as i do, keep in touchx. Even flyers need love x
